Welcome to the AI Solutions Architect feature of CloudUnity! This tool is designed to empower you with the expertise of a Cloud Solutions Architect, enabling you to make informed architectural decisions without the need to hire one. The AI Solutions Architect is a comprehensive tool that evaluates and improves your cloud architecture.

How It Works​

Design Assessment​

The Design Assessment section allows you to upload your current architecture design for evaluation across five key pillars:

  1. Cost

  2. Operational

  3. Security

  4. Performance

  5. Reliability

Each pillar is analyzed in detail, and you receive:

  1. A score out of 100% for each category

  2. An overall average score

  3. A detailed assessment highlighting findings and actionable recommendations to improve scores to 100%

Migration Analysis​

The Migration Analysis section provides:

  1. Possible migration paths

  1. Complexity assessments for each migration

  2. Explanations of the complexity, helping you plan your migration strategy effectively

Architecture Mapping​

The Architecture Mapping section enables you to:

  1. Upload your architecture file

  1. Select your source platform (e.g., on-premise or another Cloud Service Provider)

  2. Define your target platform (any CSP of your choice)

With this setup, clicking Analyze Architecture maps each component of your source platform to an equivalent component in the target platform. For instance:

  1. A NAS on-premises might be mapped to S3 on AWS.

In addition to mapping, you’ll receive architecture considerations, such as:

  1. Recommendation: "Database Migration Required"

  2. Rationale: "Database migration requires careful planning for data consistency and minimal downtime."

The Best Practices section provides recommendations to align your architecture with industry standards. For example:

  1. Insight: "Infrastructure as Code is not implemented"

  2. Impact: "Manual and error-prone infrastructure management"
